Mashed Red Potatoes w Goat's Milk Yogurt
Some reasons I use yogurt instead of butter:
1. It tastes good and the texture is pleasantly fluffy
2. In 1 stick of butter (what most recipes call for) there are 800 calories and 56 grams of fat
3. In 1 cup of plain, nonfat yogurt there are 120 calories and there are 2 grams of fat but you give up creaminess and some texture
4. In the goat’s milk yogurt there are 110 calories and 4.5...

Honey Sage Skillet Cornbread
Half of my family is from the south. So I LOVE southern food. Corn bread being a special favorite. (That and my great-grandmother’s sweet potato w molasses-treacle pie. Oh, my happy.)
