The problem with “Thumbnail View” or I promise I don’t think that killing people should be a goal
I took a photo of a poster that was tacked up outside Hi-Fi Cafe on Thursday, I believe it was. A little while ago I posted it, when I remembered that I’d taken it seeing a thumbnail in my dropbox auto-upload. I thought, owing to the fact that I am reading Sacré Bleu, that it looked a bit Toulouse-Lautrec-ian in its safe little thumbnail. And I posted the praises of the “Have Goals” sticker campaign. Not at all remembering that whomever had taken the time to copy, color in, and post had taken the liberty of adding “Kill People.”
It’s unfortunate timing what with folks posting about the violence associated with homophobia today - violence I vehemently oppose. And also… Dark Knight.
I’ve since removed the post and wanted to extend this explanation. And an apology.
It earned me an unfollow. Serves me right for not looking more closely at the pic before I posted. To whomever I offended with that post, should you poke your nose over, sorry about that. So careless of me.
